The Plastic Company

Issue

The Plastic Company was exhibiting at The South West Business Expo in March this year but was in need of a brochure to have available on their stand for those visiting them. Not having created a brochure before for The Plastic Company, they needed guidance as to what the brochure should contain, how large it should be and what it should look like. But they also needed to produce this brochure on a budget within a tight turnaround of just under 4 weeks.

Solution

The Plastic Company sought guidance and assistance from Roots to Market to help fulfil this brochure need. They had been using a catalogue internally to help clients meet their needs, but this was not suitable to use at the show. The Plastic Company and Roots to Market discussed multiple options that were available to meet the need, and after evaluating costs and timescales, Roots to Market recommended a shorter brochure introducing the brand and product ranges with a few example products. This would give their clients a taste of what The Plastic Company stood for and what they offered without drowning them in too much detail. Once this was decided, Roots to Market worked efficiently to produce artwork for the brochure aligned to the brand and their requirements.

Outcome

It was a tight turnaround to produce the artwork ready for printing prior to the show. However, the deadline was met, with high quality artwork produced and this new brochure looked great on their stand at the show. The Plastic Company were very happy with the outcome especially after some very positive feedback received at the show.

"We were in desperate need to produce a brochure for an event we were attending.  As we already use Roots to Market’s sister company, Air Marketing for our telemarketing, we approached them for their help and Roots to Market stepped into the breach at short notice.  They guided us through the process from concept to production and assisted with content and page layout.  We enjoyed the collaborative element and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them"
