Beco UK

Issue

Beco is based in the South West of England and was established in 1979. With 40 years’ experience they are proud to be one of the longest operating renewable energy companies in the UK.

Beco delivers energy savings to businesses, the community, agricultural customers and home owners. They harness natural resources from sun and wind, or by increasing efficiency in energy use through Voltage Optimisation and LED lighting.

Beco were not happy with their existing website and they had approached another developer. Unfortunately, the site developed did not suit their needs and they were looking for a company to help with the next steps of their website development.

Beco wanted a website that they were able to take control of on a day to day basis, which needed to go live as quickly as possible. The website needed to present a professional appearance and clearly outline Beco’s offering in a clear, concise and friendly manner, through the imagery and the website copy.

Solution

Roots to Market offered Beco an efficient website review of the one currently in development and recommended shifting the design from the current platform to a WordPress site. This would enable Beco to have more control over their site as they continued to develop it, but also have more control over the day to day editing as time went on.

Roots also completed a full audit of the website copy and imagery in order to assist Beco in creating the friendly tone that they were looking to achieve.

Outcome

By following the advice of Roots to Market and implementing the changes suggested to their copy and imagery, Beco achieved what they were looking for. Their new site was engaging and friendly, concisely explaining their offering to potential clients. Beco had a new website launched within 6 weeks of starting the project.

“Roots to Market offered us a friendly, practical approach. The team are responsive and helped us to navigate our way through the complexities of web development. Delivering on time and budget, Beco can thoroughly recommend without hesitation”.
